Taxmo is a bookkeeping and tax platform for UK sole traders, freelancers and small businesses. It is built by Taxmo B.V., a company based in Amsterdam.

## What Taxmo does

Taxmo puts records, invoices, bank transactions and the VAT return in one place: receipts captured by photo, WhatsApp or email, VAT returns filed to HMRC over Making Tax Digital, and an assistant for UK tax questions.

It does not replace an accountant for advice on your own situation. It keeps the records in order and does the sums. Tax rates and deadlines change each year, so Taxmo points to GOV.UK for the figures that apply to you.
